Four to Fourteen is a perfect age to introduce children to the script. It is psychologically possible and mentally fertile age. Specially when its a ‘foreign’ script for them. Enabling them to read and write is a life long investment for them. It will remain with them as a key whenever and whatever they may want to explore about India on their own! Just speaking won’t help. In the world of global information system it is crucial to do self exploration. What most than a scripts can help them from their promising in their TEEN’age to TIES’age.
Teaching scripts at home may find a slow and difficult process but it works like a magic in a group. It is my experience. Above picture is a progression from year 5 to year 7.
