We have divided the celestial spear with 27 constellations. We want to divide these 27 constellations within 12 months or 12 zodiac signs. We were not making it complicated with fractions but just divide each constellation further in 4 parts each and it becomes 108 parts all together. Now we can distribute nine parts to each Rashi. It not mathematics nor Astronomy we want to discuss here. What we find is that each quarter part is assigned a letter in particular. The sequence of 5 variation are taken from selected letters as Ma, Mi Mu, Me, Mo. We find these similar five variations for any letter in Spanish language. For me it seems its not the letter but a pattern of frequency modulation in a orbit.
Indian trace the rising ascendant (quarter) when we take birth. That frequency or letter is associated with us at that particular time. To remind the base frequency Indians do name a baby with a name starting with the same frequency. I feel it must be a Resonant Impact theory to study further. I would not have believed on the logic if I was not convinced on the accuracy of trigonometric accuracy our ancestors had achieved. The same brains would definitely not derive anything foolish. We trust but need to explore and verify before someone from far away land tell us the glory of ourselves.
Not just the student in my class but one of my surgeon friend in UK with a good astronomical interest asked me many questions about Indian astronomy. Sometime curiosity is a key to open the doors towards pride. He used to kindly help me in the classroom as assistant. He was one of the witness to see the transformation in the classroom. I took out the book of oldest Astronomy ‘Surya Siddhanta’. Base on that I put a puzzle to the kids.
Kids were surprised and curiously asked what is the relation of names of the day with India? They knew the planets well. They did not know their Indian names of the week days and its meaning. Som means the Moon, Mangal means Mars, Budh means Murcury, Guru means Jupiter, Shukra means Venus, Shani means Saturn, Ravi means the Sun. And Var means day. RaviVar, SomVar, MangalVar…. and on.
Its roots are in our ancestor land. They arranged it in this order. It is written in this Siddhanta book. Siddhanta means Established Truth. You will get surprised if you read in it when it was narrated. The proof text is this;
Now my students are getting ready to enter in Shabdamala derivation of words, my next series. One thing was getting sure for myself that the grammar of India need a real genius to unfold it original formation with all dimensions of it.
My surgeon friend was fascinated with this text book so was I. Later on the occasion of Makar Sankrat (Uttarayan) I could introduce the student to the concept of Indian calendar months and the astronomical event of Makar Sankraman. My surgeon friend showed me and the classroom the moons of the Jupitor with a professional telescope on that night.
Now the real uttarayan (moving upward) was happening in my linguistic classroom. I had to leave the classroom to the level of reading and writing as very soon I was going to move down towards equator towards my India.
